  1. Constable Gérard Thériault of Québec was sexually harassed by a teen, an 18-year-old teen Hélène Hurtubise to be precise on November 6, 1994. He had a weapon, a police vehicle, but he was powerless against the sexual approach of a teen according to his statement. Poor Gerry, he just wanted to see a pair of breasts and for the rest he didn’t harm the teen. What could he do? He couldn’t do anything; he couldn’t drop the teen at her house or at a clinic so that she could get help. Even Gerry’s police force was powerless, and they warned their employees to not to approach the 18-year-old teen Hélène Hurtubise alone, because they all knew how sexually powerful that teen was. The Sûreté du Québec was also powerless with their attempts in finding 18-year-old teen Hélène Hurtubise when she went missing. Sûreté du Québec divers tried 14 times in 7 months to find Hélène Hurtubise’s car, to no avail (!), but a commercial diver found her vehicle and her lifeless body within the car in 10 minutes on December 1, 1995.

The then “Constable” Gérard Thériault and his fellow officers at Sûreté du Québec: How do you sleep at night? How can you face your own children when you know you have her death on your conscience?
