The man accused in the murder of Laval’s Natasha Cournoyer, 37, could face charges in connection with another incident.
An escort called the television network TVA to complain she had been beaten by Claude Larouche, 48, in her home in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district on Oct. 17, 16 days after Cournoyer disappeared from the Laval office building where she worked. TVA also reported the woman met with Montreal police.
She claims that Larouche punched her in the face several times and then tried to strangle her. Montreal police last night would not say if Larouche will face charges in relation to this incident.
