Police asking for help to find missing Piedmont woman

Natasha Cournoyer

This in this morning’s Gazette and Cyberpresse. Never good news. 5’5″ doesn’t help either. Piedmont is about 20 miles North of where my brother lives in off Laval / Montreal:

Laval police are asking for the public’s help in finding Natasha Cournoyer, 37, who went missing Thursday after she left work about 8 p.m. at Place Laval on St. Martin Blvd. E. at the corner of des Laurentides Blvd. Video surveillance show she left the building, but never made it to her car, a charcoal Mazda3, which was found in the parking lot on Friday.

“She was supposed to come home right after work, but she never did,” said Véronique Robitaille, a friend.

Cournoyer works in the communications department for Corrections Canada, and lives in Piedmont. She is 5 foot, 5 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes.

Robitaille said she believes Cournoyer was abducted. Anyone with information is asked to call 450-662-4636.
