Cooking as if Punjab Were Part of Canada

Last Sunday the New York Times ran an article on my favorite restaurant in Vancouver, In Canada, IN THE WORLD.

Vij is a little slice of Indian heaven. I have had the pleasure of dining there three times. It is soooo good.

How good? Let me say this. If I had a build-up of frequent flyer miles and I didn’t know what to do with them I would book a flight to Vancouver, take a taxi to Vij, eat and be on the red-eye home.

It’s that good.
